Fairly traded. Shade grown. Prized in northern Europe, this is one of the rarest coffees from Central America. El Conquistador comes from a small, bowl-shaped valley named Dota, in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. Here, the coffee slowly ripens at altitudes well above the norm for Costa Rica. Due to these special growing conditions, this coffee exhibits a lively, spicy cup with dark chocolate overtones. 100% Arabica coffee. 12 ounces.
